Advantage Health Systems Home Health offers personalized home health care services to patients in the comfort and privacy of their own home. If you are recovering from an injury or illness, have had a recent hospitalization or inpatient stay, our home health care services can assist with your recovery and rehabilitation. Our goal is to assist our patients in getting back to their highest level of functioning independence. If you meet Medicare criteria, Medicare will pay for 100% of home health care costs. Advantage Home Health will coordinate your Medicare Services and bill Medicare for you.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Our highly trained physical therapists gear their plan of treatment towards the development and restoration of muscle pint function. Their areas of expertise include, establishment of home exercise programs specific to each patient, muscle strengthening and gait training, instructions in the safe use of assistive devices at home, and assistance in pain management.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our team of professionals categorized under this service aim towards achieving the patients maximum potential in performance of activities of daily living. Their focus is with patients who have upper extremity weakness. limited upper body range of motion and decreased fine motor control, as well as patients in need of instructions in energy conservation.
SPEECH THERAPY SERVICES
Our specially trained professionals providing this service do not only concentrate on the obvious communication deficits, but they also focus on clients with cognitive deficits as well as people affected with poor gag reflex, swallowing difficulties.
HOME HEALTH ASSISTANCE
Our patient and caring teams of CHHA under the direct supervision of our clinical staff provide assistance with activities of daily living such as personal care, meal preparation, ambulation, and exercise.
MEDICAL SOCIAL SERVICE
Our compassionate social workers concentrate on a wide variety of tasks to meet the patient's social, emotional, financial, and environmental needs, Such tasks include but are not limited to:
